Kiki, of mainland China’s Xi-an, and her Taiwanese husband Tom face a special challenge to their love: spinal muscular atrophy.
Kiki’s composition “Sunflower Love” was awarded an honorable mention at the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Association’s “Read for Love” Nov. 20. “There are very few people in the world who are truly in love, and I believe that we are very fortunate as a couple,” she said.
